A tool dating back to the days of the Vikings originally made from bone or shell. Use it to make a strong cord from yarn, hemp, twine, or crochet thread. For fine cord use our Pearl Cotton or Embroidery Floss, etc. To get a repeating pattern use two different colors.
The technique is simple, stitches are created by slipping loops over the fork prongs until your cord is as long as you like. Make decorative trim (as in medieval days), drawstrings for pouches and clothing, friendship bracelets, shoe laces and more. For ease of use we offer this handled version. Instructions are included or refer to this helpful video from Evelyn of Strings 'n Things. Made in the USA.
Size: 8" long. (Yarn not included)
