Cancellation: Your payment is refundable if the class is not held. If you cancel before 48 hours of the class we will issue you a store credit.
Class Day Discount: Attendees enjoy a 10% discount on any purchases of most handwork and craft related supplies on the day of class.
A note to parents:
Dear parents, the class fee is per person. In order to be fair to all participants, any parent or child accompanying a student or "sitting in" on a class is obliged to meet the class age requirements and pay the class fee. Students with special needs must have the approval of the teacher and will need to be accompanied by their assistant.

JUNE CLASSES WITH OLY AVIDAR - VISITING TEACHER
Instructor Bio: Natural fibers, hand painting and dye are my passion these days. Knitting, crochet and silk painting since a very young age allowed me to explore new techniques: Needle felting, Nuno felting and Shibori dyeing. I find working with natural fibers to be relaxing and creative while building my self-confidence with every new exciting project. The process of transforming fiber to an airy original one-of-a-kind fabric is magical. I let the fiber flow to create a world of color, texture, shape and form. It leads me to unexpected feeling of freedom.

Shibori Dyeing – Hand Painted Silk Scarves by Oly Avidar

Express your creativity! Learn basic dyeing technique, fold and manipulate fabrics that will allow you to create a beautiful original, one-of-a-kind hand painted silk scarf in few hours! We will dye a 100% silk scarf during class.
Soap Felting Workshop by Oly Avidar
Fri. June 25, 10:00-12:00 pm Cost: $25 + materials: $10
A soap that is also a sponge, exfoliates and cleanse your body at the same time! Learn how to felt soap at this fun, creative workshop. We will cover our soaps with Merino wool tops in a wet felted technique. The cost includes three bars of soap and the wool to felt it with.
Nuno Felted Scarf by Oly Avidar

We will provide a hand-dyed silk base, choose from our specialty yarns and fibers. We will learn felting techniques that incorporate silk and wet felting to create lightweight fabric. The process is a fun exercise for creativity and the body! This class will empower you to be creative and take risks! Build your self confidence!
Dyeing Workshop by Oly Avidar
Sat. June 26, 10:00-1:00 pm; Sun. June 27, 1:00-4:00 pm $45 + materials: $15
We will provide two chiffon silk base fabrics to use for Nuno felted scarves. We will learn two dyeing techniques and have fun exploring colors!
