Organic 100% Cotton Knit
A lovely opaque fabric for dollmaking. Cotton knit interlock made from certified organic cotton and dyed with lo(environmental)-impact dyes. The finish is soft and natural because the fabric has not been chemically mercerized. (Mercerization is an enzyme bath that dissolves pills.) Excellent medium weight at 11 ounces per linear yard with a moderate stretch. One yard is adequate for two 16" dolls. Comes in five beautiful colors. USA. Approximately 60" wide.
Note about colors:
Fair - lightens to a soft shade of peach after stuffed and stretched
Tan - new dye lot (July 2011) is a bit lighter than previous dye lot

Skin tone colors of spooled thread hand-picked to match the Organic Cotton Knit doll skin tones. (Golden thread not available.)
Cotton Knit Velour
A plush knit material, soft and warm and ideally suited for cuddly bunting babies, tooth fairy pillows, magical capes, doll clothes and more. Use this fabric with Joy's patterns for Bright Eyes Babies. Bunting Baby, Brother & Sister, and Star Children. Available by the yard or in fat quarters (18" x 28"). Measurements do not include untrimmed selvages. Prewashing is recommended. Machine wash and dry on normal settings, cold or warm water. Wash with similar colors. Shrinkage is minimal.
