6" Teeny Baby Kit ~ Joy's Waldorf Dolls™
Skill Level: Beginner (Ages 10 and older)
Now you can make your big doll its very own baby, complete with a cotton print sling, a cotton flannel diaper, and a cotton knit velour fabric bunting and hat set. Machine sewing is suggested but optional.
Kit includes: pattern for 6" doll, bunting, diaper and sling; Organic Cotton Knit in your choice of 4 skin tones; Eco-wool stuffing; tubular stockinette; fabrics for the bunting (velour), sling (cotton print), and diaper (flannel); plain chopstick; matching hair thread, embroidery floss for facial features and necessary craft thread, string, Velcro and elastic.
In addition, you will need good fabric scissors, a sewing machine (optional), 3" dollmaking needles, #7 embroidery needle, #70 Schmetz universal machine needle (optional), ball head straight pins, Joy's Copper Head Frames (or tape measure), a crochet hook for hair wig (found on Doll Hair Yarn page), rouge crayon or powder blush and skintone sewing threads. Most can be purchased in oursupplies section.

10" Brother/Sister Kit ~ Joy's Waldorf Dolls™
Skill Level: Intermediate
A 10" doll with a soft, flexible body, shapely legs and feet and plush cotton knit velour clothing. Simple for younger hands to dress. Pattern is for a brother and sister doll, top, pants, and shoes. A good kit for those with some dollmaking experience but, many have done well as beginners. This is a basic kit which does not include hair. Please order hair separately. A link is provided below. Machine sew.
Kit includes: pattern for doll, sweatpants, sweatshirt, shoes and several hairstyles; Cotton Knit Velour in ONE color for clothing and shoes (contrast color must be ordered separately), Organic Cotton Knit in your choice of 4 skin tones; Eco-wool stuffing for a true Waldorf style doll; stockinette; plain chopstick, matching hair thread, embroidery floss for facial features and necessary craft thread, string and elastic.

16" Honey Doll Kit ~ Joy's Waldorf Dolls™
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate (Ages 13 and older)
Supplies in this kit will make one 16" Honey Doll, a sturdy, medium-sized doll with a soft, flexible body and shapely legs and feet that can wear shoes and sneakers. A good pattern for those with some dollmaking experience, but, many have done well as beginners. Joy's expert pattern directions will teach you a full range of dollmaking skills and techniques. Machine sew.
Kit includes: pattern for doll, overalls, shirt, dress and several hairstyles; Organic Cotton Knit in your choice of 4 skin tones; plenty of Eco-wool stuffing for a true Waldorf style doll; stockinette; plain chop stick for stuffing, matching hair thread, embroidery floss for facial features, necessary craft thread and string.

6" Velour Star Child ~ Joy's Waldorf Dolls™
Skill Level: Beginner
Star Child's body is made of the softest cotton velour, which also serves as this little sweetie's clothes. Stuffed with wool this is for the very young to cuddle and snuggle. Machine sewing is optional.
Kit includes: a pattern for the doll, velour for the body, organic skin tone cotton knit fabric, eco-wool stuffing, tubular gauze, craft thread, and embroidery floss for the facial features. A beginner doll kit for ages 13 and older.
In addition, you will need good fabric scissors, a 3" dollmaking needle, #7 embroidery needle, #70 Schmetz Universal Machine Needle (optional), chopstick (optional), Ball Head Straight Pins and thread to match velour fabric. Most of which can be purchased in our supplies section.

How to clean your Waldorf Doll

To spot clean your doll you can:
Rub soiled area with a luke-warm wet cloth and mild soap.
Rinse with a clean wet cloth and then blot out the moisture.
Air dry or blow with a cool hair dryer.
To wash your doll:
You can wash your doll as you would a wool sweater with a good soak in mild soap and cool water and then spot rubbing.
Rinse all soap out.
Take care to reshape the doll with your hands after water is squeezed out.
Wrap it in a towel for a bit and follow directions for drying.
Drying -depending on how wet it is:
You may leave it to air dry or
Use the cool setting on the hair dryer for spot drying.
I have a sweater/sneaker rack for my clothes dryer and I place it in the dryer for as long as needed on low to no heat setting.
