Brittany Single Point Birch Knitting Needles

Art Deco style needles in birch wood, hand finished and exactly sized. Finely crafted wooden tools of this nature have long been prized by crafts people around the world. The yarn doesn't slip and slide as with metal needles so are wonderful for beginners and they warm up during use making them nice for colder hands. Use Size 7 with our cotton Sugar'n Cream; sizes 8 and 9 with Lamb's Pride Worsted Wool Yarn and for beginners we suggest sizes 10 and 10.5 with Lamb's Pride Bulky Wool Yarn.

Clover Takumi Double Point Bamboo Needles - 5" & 7" long

Premium needles made from the hard and resilient bamboo grown in cold areas in Japan. Ultra-smooth and lightweight, the user-friendly needlepoint never causes split yarn and because they're wood they will warm up in your hands! Use these to knit socks and sleeves, "in the round".  You'll want a size 1 or 2 with our Wildfoote Luxury Sock Yarn.  Set of 5.  Choose from two lengths, 5" or 7".

Cherry Wood Lucet

The lucet is a simple tool, the earliest dating back to Viking days, for making a single strand square braid or cord. The essential feature is the extending horns, around which thread or yarn is wrapped in forming the stitch. Children and adults can make belts, bands, decorative edging, drawstrings, eyeglass chains, or even period garment lacing. Instructions for a basic cord included. For thick cords and fast results we recommend our Lamb's Pride Bulky or Handpaint Burley Spun. Ages 6 and up.
