Gauzey Chiffon Silk

A flowy, transparent gauze-like fabric with a matte rather than shiny finish. Stronger than cotton gauze yet quite airy and light. Ideal for veils, curtains, layering, softening overhead lights and draping playhouses and stands. Dyes easily. 8mm weight, 45" wide

Sheer Silk

Petal soft, this fine quality silk is lovely for making marionette puppets, covering seasonal tables or draping. It also makes wonderful curtains for your home or classroom. Easy to dye. 5 mm weight, 36" wide.

Solid Silk

Tightly woven of fine silk threads with a smooth and glossy finish. These China Silks tolerate repeated washings and can be used for play as well as curtains, puppets and dresses. 8mm weight, 45" wide.

Heavy Silk

Our heaviest and most solid silk. Very durable and can be used for play as well as curtains and clothing. 10mm weight, 45" wide.
