Undyed Cotton Gauze
Open weave, lightweight fabric for use in felting, costumes, curtains, play cloths and more. Dyes easily, 36" wide, finished selvages.

Silk Gauze ~ now in 2 weights!
Stronger than cotton gauze yet airy and light as a cloud! A floaty transparent silk chiffon gauze ideal for veils, curtains, layering, draping, painting, nuno and needle felting, shibori and more. That's right, felt wisps of wool right onto it as in our Silk Merino Nuno Scarf Kit (uses 4.5mm). Finish is matte rather than shiny. Dyes easily. Both weights are 44 inches wide.
4.5mm shrinkage - allow up to 11% in length and 7% in width.
8mm shrinkage - allow up to 20% in length and 10% in width.
Sheer Silk ~ 5mm Habotai
Petal soft, this fine quality silk is lovely for making marionette puppets, covering seasonal tables or draping. It also makes wonderful curtains for your home or classroom. Easy to dye. 5 mm weight, 45" wide.
Solid Silk ~ 8mm Habotai
Tightly woven of fine silk threads with a smooth and glossy finish. These China Silks tolerate repeated washings and can be used for play as well as curtains, puppets and dresses. 8mm weight, 45" wide.
Heavy Silk ~ 10mm Habotai
Our heaviest and most solid silk. Very durable and can be used for play as well as curtains and clothing. 10mm weight, 45" wide.
