Making More Flower Children by Sybille Adolphi
The sequel to the ever-popular Making Flower Children includes instructions clearly illustrated with diagrams and photographs and offers and entirely new set of flower children to make. From violets to shamrocks and rosehips to mistletoe, you'll find over 35 projects to sew sweet flower children dolls clothed in silk or wool felt or fabric. To start there is a design that can be varied which features a simple face and body easy enough for children age seven and upward. The subsequent patterns are for dolls with bendable limbs and the traditional Waldorf formed head comprised of a shaped inner head stuffed with wool then covered with a skin-tone cotton knit fabric.
To make these projects you will need: small pieces of Plant-Dyed Silk, Holland or Organic Plant-Dyed Felt, Corriedale Wool in hair colors, Standard Pipe Cleaners, small amount of skin tone Cotton Knit, Inner Head Tubing in 5/8" and 7/8", basic sewing supplies
