Thick Handmade Felt

This thick felt has a truly handmade appearance with a surface that is not densely felted so you can easily needle felt or wet felt right onto it. You will find it lighter weight and a bit coarser to the touch than our other wool felt. Due to its handmade nature there are thick and thin spots. Thickness varies with each piece and ranges from 1/8" to 1/4" (3-5mm). Dye components are certified free of lead and pthalates. The white felt may contain dried bits of plant and fibers. 100% wool felt is self-extinguishing meaning it requires a constant flame from an external source to burn. Once it is removed from the flame the felt will extinguish. Made in Nepal.
