Plant-Dyed Felt ~ Two Styles
|
Organic Plant-Dyed All Wool Felt
Soft all wool felt, plant-dyed by hand in sumptuous colors that pulse with the essence of nature and blend together harmoniously. Piece sizes and dye lots vary. (White is no longer available.) Approximately 7.5"x11" (20 x 30 cm). Bioland Organic Certification. Felt may shrink when washed and colors may bleed. Dry clean or gently handwash in cool water, reshape and air dry. 100% wool felt is self-extinguishing meaning it requires a constant flame from an external source to burn. Once it is removed from the flame the felt will extinguish. Germany

Plant-Dyed Wool/Rayon Felt
This thick, natural fiber felt is plant-dyed and exhibits a beautiful twofold effect: lovely, nature based colors emerge and a partial return to the curled, wooly appearance of the sheep's coat is achieved. Sew into Wee Folk fairies, table puppets and more. Wool can be easily needle felted onto the surface.
Due to the natural pigments, colors vary from one dye bath to the next. Many handworkers find this makes the felt even more intriguing! Just about 1/8 inch thick. Felt may shrink when washed and colors may bleed. Dry clean or gently handwash in cool water, reshape and air dry. 70% Wool/30% Rayon. USA
NOTE: Sizes are irregular and approximate. Undyed White felt is processed in the same manner as the dyed felt, without the dyeing. This produces a white felt with the same thickness and "curliness" as in the dyed felt.

Corriedale Earth Colors ~ doll hair for small dolls
Carded Corriedale wool in assorted hair colors for your Felt Wee Folk, Feltcraft projects and Table Puppets. Sew a few stitches to tack it on or use a few drops of glue. 10 different colors, 1/4 oz each (about 15 inches in length).
